Album 2026 Quest for Beauty
Quest For Beauty brings her new concept storytelling jazz to life. In a world full of worry, uncertainty, setbacks and hurry, we all hunger for beauty — because beauty gives us hope. Hope that, somehow, things will turn out for the good. But where can beauty still be found? Setting out on this quest, Hanna Marieke was soon confronted with her own expectations, bitterness, impatience and fear. Through a contemplative journey inward, Hanna Marieke discovered that beauty begins with the posture of the heart. By letting go, slowing down, embracing stillness, choosing to remain in uncomfortable places, and facing raw emotion, her eyes were opened to unexpected beauty — even in the midst of pain.

Debut album 2021 Rhythms of Grace
"Surprisingly strong and adventurous."
(Nederlands Dagblad)
"Perfect synthesis between indie chissellations, Nordic jazz and sophisticated melodies... a true liquid crystal, precious light and crunchy neo jazz tassel to convey evolutionary wellness, dominated by neutral and satin colors..."
(Windout, Guiseppe Maggioli)
"In the three songs with lyrics, she appeared as a sovereign poet.... Her voice is fragile, tender and thoroughly feminine. All other songs are saturated with strong melodies, variable dynamics and rhythmicity, while the trio strives for layering, unpredictability in structure and texture."
(skjazz)
"Melodic and adventurous jazz.. The jazz world can be glad with such an ambassador!"
(De Nieuwe Koers)
"Contemplative music, authentic and modern."
(Hans Mantel van Sublime FM)
"Classical piano jazz, really beautiful."
